Shed removal and demolition in Dublin
Timber, metal and plastic garden sheds taken down, broken up and removed — with everything inside them, if you want that gone too.

Rotten floors, leaking felt roofs, a metal shed rusting at the corners: most old sheds come down because there’s a new one going up, a garden being redone, or a house being sold. Taking one down is an afternoon’s hard work and leaves a pile of timber, felt and glass that won’t fit in any bin.
We take the shed down and take the lot away. If you only need the contents cleared and the shed left standing, that’s our shed clearance service.
What we take
- Timber sheds, including felt roofs and floors
- Metal and plastic (resin) sheds
- Log stores, bike stores and bin stores
- Small timber playhouses
- Everything inside the shed
- Old fencing and decking nearby
What we don’t do:
- Roof or wall sheets that may contain asbestos — older corrugated cement sheets need a licensed asbestos contractor
- Breaking out concrete bases and slabs — ask us, it’s a separate job
Shed and contents in one visit
Most sheds come down full: tools, bikes, paint tins, the lawnmower, old furniture. We clear the contents first and take the structure down after. Household quantities of paint and garden chemicals are fine — mention them in the photos.
Asbestos
Some older sheds and garages have roofs or walls of corrugated cement sheeting that may contain asbestos. We can’t take those: asbestos must be removed by a licensed contractor. If you’re not sure, send us a close-up photo of the roof and we’ll tell you whether we can do the job.
What happens to it
Timber, metal and glass are separated for recycling where possible, and the rest goes to authorised waste facilities under our permit.

Shed removal: common questions
Do you take the shed down, or just empty it?
Both — we can clear the contents and dismantle the shed in one visit, or just do one or the other.
Can you remove a shed with an asbestos roof?
No. Asbestos must be handled by a licensed contractor. Send a close-up photo of the roof if you’re unsure and we’ll tell you.
Do you remove the concrete base?
Breaking out a concrete base is a different job — ask us and we’ll advise.
Do you take metal sheds?
Yes. Metal and plastic sheds are taken apart and the metal goes for recycling.
How much does shed removal cost?
It depends on the size of the shed, what’s inside and the access. Send photos and we’ll give you a fixed price.
Do you remove sheds outside Dublin?
Yes — we’re based in Athy and cover Kildare and the rest of Leinster too.
