Commercial Waste Removal in Co. Wexford
The waste the bin company won’t take — fit-outs, fixtures, old stock, a unit’s leftovers, a landlord’s void. Collected around your opening hours, by a permitted carrier, across Wexford.
Commercial Waste by county: DublinKildareWicklowKilkennyLaoisCarlowMeathLouthLongfordOffalyWestmeathWexford

Your bin contract covers the bins. It doesn’t cover the shelving from the refit, the stock that didn’t sell, the fittings the last tenant left in the unit, the broken chairs in the storeroom, or the skip-load that comes out when a premises changes hands. For that you need a one-off collection from a carrier that is permitted to take commercial waste — and that matters more than people think, because the business that produced the waste is responsible for where it ends up.
ManageWaste.ie is operated by Krystal Klean Express Limited, an authorised waste carrier holding Waste Collection Permit No. NWCPO-25-13287-01, with public liability insurance. We collect from shops, offices, landlords, property managers, schools, clubs and small industrial units across Wexford, and we schedule around trading hours. North Wexford is nearer us than you might think — Bunclody is 45 minutes from Athy, Enniscorthy and Gorey about an hour, New Ross a little more, and Wexford Town, Rosslare and the Hook about an hour and a half. We’re in Wexford every week, usually combining the north of the county with Carlow work.

Full commercial clearance in Wexford
A premises emptied end to end — the shop floor, the stockroom, the office upstairs, the yard. Fixtures and fittings, shelving and racking, counters, display units, signage, old stock, packaging, furniture, IT equipment, and the general accumulation of a business that has traded for years. We separate metal, timber, cardboard, WEEE and general waste as we load, because commercial loads are charged by weight at the facility and sorting keeps that honest. Where fittings have resale value we’ll tell you. A small retail unit is typically a day; a larger premises or a full yard is several loads.
For landlords and managing agents: void units cleared between tenants, with photographs and an invoice per unit. For tenants: cleared to the condition the lease requires, with the dilapidations schedule in mind.
One-off and partial commercial collections in Wexford
Most commercial jobs are smaller than a full clearance: the pile of flattened cardboard the bin company won’t take, the old shelving after a refit, the broken furniture in the storeroom, the stock that’s been written off, the leftovers after the Christmas rush. We collect that as a one-off — often the same week, sometimes the same day — and we can set up a standing arrangement if it recurs.
What we take — and what we don’t
- Shop fittings, shelving, racking, counters and display units
- Office furniture and IT equipment (WEEE)
- Written-off stock, packaging and cardboard in bulk
- Timber, pallets and crates
- Fit-out and refurbishment leftovers (non-hazardous)
- Contents of void units, storerooms and yards
- General commercial waste that doesn’t fit the bin contract
- Signage, fixtures and the awkward large items
Not included: Hazardous and clinical waste (we can point you to licensed handlers); Food waste in bulk (separate collectors); Asbestos.
Commercial Waste across Co. Wexford: every town we cover
We provide commercial waste removal in all 105 towns and villages below, and at the rural addresses between them. Wexford is a long county: Gorey and the Courtown coast in the north, Enniscorthy on the Slaney in the middle, New Ross on the Barrow in the west, Wexford Town and Rosslare in the south-east and the Hook peninsula in the far south, with the biggest run of villages in Leinster between them. Wexford County Council runs no bulky-waste collection, and only one of its four recycling centres — Holmestown near Wexford Town — takes furniture, mattresses and general waste; Enniscorthy, New Ross and Gorey are recyclables and WEEE only. So for most of the county, bulky waste means a long drive to Holmestown or a permitted collector.
Wexford Town’s Whitemill and Drinagh parks, Gorey’s and Enniscorthy’s business parks, New Ross’s port-side units, Rosslare Europort and the agri and food businesses across the county make up the commercial side, plus a big seasonal trade in holiday parks and caravan sites along the coast.

Doing it yourself in Wexford: what the council offers
Before you ring anyone, here is the honest picture of what Wexford County Council will and won’t do for commercial waste removal. Electrical items — fridges, washing machines, TVs, computers — are free to drop at every council site as WEEE, and we take them as part of any job. Holmestown Household Recycling Centre, Enniscorthy Household Recycling Centre, New Ross Household Recycling Centre and Gorey Household Recycling Centre are for household waste only — commercial loads are turned away. Watch the vehicle rules: Vans and trailers admitted with set load bands: single-axle trailer/van €65–€100, double-axle trailer or large van €100–€150, extra-large van €180; domestic waste only.
Wexford County Council — no bulky-waste collection. Wexford County Council does not collect household or bulky waste from the kerb; bin collection is by licensed private operators listed on wexfordcoco.ie. Bulky furniture, mattresses and carpets are accepted only at the Holmestown Household Recycling Centre near Wexford town (per-item charges), or via an authorised private collector. Free anti-dumping amnesties run most years: a Mattress Amnesty across all four recycling centres over four weeks in September–October 2025 (Tue–Fri 8:15am–12pm and 1pm–4pm, limit 3 mattresses per vehicle, one entry per vehicle, €2 vehicle entry, households only, mattresses clean and dry), and a free Furniture Amnesty at Holmestown for three weeks from September 2026 (Tue–Fri 9am–3pm, freestanding furniture only such as tables, chairs and couches, max 4 items per household, one trip only, no mattresses, no commercial waste).

Council details are taken from the councils’ own published information and checked periodically; hours and charges change, so confirm with the site before travelling. Where a council hasn’t published a charge we say so rather than guess.
Or we come to you
Set that against a collection from us: no van to borrow, no gate fee, no weighbridge surprise, no two-mattress limit, no carrying it down the stairs yourself, and no question about whether the site will turn your load away. We quote a fixed price from photos, we load it, and it leaves under our waste collection permit (NWCPO-25-13287-01). For a single item the council site can be cheaper if you already have the van and the time; for anything more than a car-boot load, we usually are.
How commercial waste removal works with us
Tell us what and when. Photos of the load, the address, access (loading bay, shutter, stairs) and when you can’t have us on site.
A written quote. Fixed where the load is clear; capped where it isn’t. Account terms for regular work.
Collection. Timed around trading — early, late or weekend where needed. Sorted as loaded.
Paperwork. Invoice and, where you want it, a note of the facility the load went to, for your records.

What affects the price in Wexford
Weight — commercial loads are weighed at the facility; sorting metal, timber and cardboard out lowers it
Volume — number of loads
Timing — out-of-hours collection where the premises can’t have us during trading
Access — shutters, loading bays, upstairs stockrooms, yard gates
Recurring work — standing rates for landlords, agents and multi-site businesses
North Wexford is nearer us than you might think — Bunclody is 45 minutes from Athy, Enniscorthy and Gorey about an hour, New Ross a little more, and Wexford Town, Rosslare and the Hook about an hour and a half. We’re in Wexford every week, usually combining the north of the county with Carlow work. Send photos through the quote form or on WhatsApp and you’ll have a fixed price the same day.

Commercial Waste in Wexford: frequently asked questions
Are you permitted to take commercial waste?
Yes. Krystal Klean Express Limited holds NWCPO permit NWCPO-25-13287-01. You can check it on the NWCPO register — and you should check any collector, because the producer of the waste shares the responsibility for where it goes.
Can you come outside trading hours?
Yes. Early morning, after close and Saturday collections are normal for shops and offices in Wexford. Tell us the window.
Do you provide paperwork for our records?
An invoice as standard, and on request a note of the facility the load went to. Businesses with an environmental policy or a landlord’s lease requirement often ask for it.
Can we set up a regular collection?
Yes — weekly, monthly, or “call when the storeroom is full”. We agree a rate and you email or WhatsApp when you need us.
Do you clear void units for landlords?
A large part of what we do. Keys from the agent, cleared, photographed, invoiced per unit. See also the office clearance and warehouse clearance pages for Wexford.
Which parts of Wexford do you cover for businesses?
All of it — every town on this page and the business parks and industrial estates around them.
Can we get a regular collection on a contract?
Yes — monthly, quarterly or “when the storeroom is full”, at an agreed rate. Email or WhatsApp when you need us and we slot you in.
Do you provide waste transfer documentation?
On request, yes — a record of the load and the facility it went to, under our permit. Businesses with an environmental policy or an auditor usually want it.
Can you take cardboard and packaging in bulk?
Yes. Clean cardboard is baled or bagged for recycling and priced separately from mixed waste, which keeps the bill down.
We’re a school / club / charity. Do you do those?
Yes — schools, GAA clubs, community halls and charities are regular Wexford customers, often for a once-a-year clear-out.
Can you clear a unit the landlord has repossessed?
Yes, once the landlord has the legal right to it. We clear, photograph and invoice the landlord or agent directly.
Does Wexford County Council collect bulky items?
No. Wexford County Council does not run a bulky-waste collection. Your options are the council recycling centres listed above — with their charges and limits — or a permitted private collector like us.
How far is Wexford from your base?
