Full storage unit clearance in Wicklow

Doing it yourself in Wicklow: what the council offers
Before you ring anyone, here is the honest picture of what Wicklow County Council will and won’t do for a storage unit clearance. Bray Recycling Centre, Wicklow (Murrough) Recycling Centre, Arklow Recycling Centre and Avoca (Ballymurtagh) Recycling Centre do not accept furniture or mattresses at all. Electrical items — fridges, washing machines, TVs, computers — are free to drop at every council site as WEEE, and we take them as part of any job.
Wicklow County Council — no bulky-waste collection. No regular council bulky-waste collection; household waste by private permitted collectors. Occasional one-off free 'Bulky Waste Day' events. Council recycling centre leaflets (Arklow, Avoca) explicitly list bulky furniture, mattresses, construction waste and tyres as NOT accepted — bulky items in Wicklow generally require a private collector or skip.
